People organization
can be defined as democratic organisation that represent the interest of their memners and are accountable to them.
They are formed by people who know each other or who share a common experience,
and their confirmed existance doesnot depend upon outside initiative or
funding.
NGOs and CBOs have
often operated at lower cost and performed better than the government services, particularly with
regard to social mobilization, but their ability to operate effictively is
constrained by inappropriate legislation.
